Thin Line Film Fest is an international documentary film festival held in Denton, Texas - just north of Dallas / Fort Worth. The 5th Annual Thin Line Film Fest will be held February 10-20, 2012.
Our mission is to educate and entertain our audiences by presenting a diverse program of high quality, relevant documentary films. From hundreds of submissions we will select the most creative and the most compelling.

In 2011, Thin Line proudly screened dozens of documentaries from around the world including the Texas Premiere of "Troubadours," "Enemies of the People," and "This Way of Life." Filmmakers came from around the country to attend their screening including M.T. Sylvia, Director of the 2011 Best Documentary Feature "Atomic Mom."
In 2012 expect more of the same. All of this is set in the historic downtown square of Denton, TX. With two universities having a combined enrollment of 50,000+, the local scene is hip, edgy, and vibrant. Denton is one of the hottest music scenes in the country with plenty of places to sample a variety of sounds within a block or two of the festival. Thin Line screens at the historic Campus Theatre on the downtown square. Other events are held at unique venues within one or two blocks. Come join us for the 5th annual Thin Line Film Fest.
